When is it time to change you Estate agent? No-one likes change. But it’s a little know fact that 43% of sellers change agent (Survey 2011 – Castles Estate Agents)

Before you change agents you need to ask yourself the these questions (and answer truthfully of course);

Is my property advertised effectively? (Make sure you check the pictures on Rightmove)
Have I presented my property at its best – neat, tidy and clean for viewings?
Do my agent make regular calls or provide with with advice or; I am I the one constantly calling them?
Do I trust my agent to be honest with me? (honesty is the best policy)
Am I happy with my agent?

We have a number of key differentiators from other agents – no contract tie in period, open seven days from 8am till 8pm, high quality pictures and we are one of the first Estate agents in Ashby-de-la-Zouch (or even the East Midlands) to offer an unmanned aerial drone that takes stunning HD video/images from the air.

Whatever the answers to the above questions, it is quite often worth talking to your existing agent with any concerns; even if you intend to change agents, the knowledge that they are possibly about to lose a customer may just be enough to spur them into finding you a buyer. Alternatively, if you have decided that now is the time to change agents then Deighton Mckenzie would love to help you make your next property move.
